    New Century Software is a leader in developing data management and integrity management solutions for the oil and gas pipeline industry. These pipelines transport natural gas and hazardous liquid petroleum products throughout the US and the world. The company develops desktop, web and mobile applications that help pipeline operators manage information about pipeline assets and ensure safe operation. The company supports these implementations and applications with professional services that include pipeline risk analysis, data conversion, data migration and consulting.

     

    The Training Program Manager is responsible for assisting in the analysis of training needs, developing curriculum, and delivering courses for both internal and external stakeholders along with communicating the advantages of our solutions to customers through web demonstrations, trade show presentations, publication of social media content, and development of workflow-based demonstrations. In addition, the Training Program Manager will be tasked to work with the marketing and sales teams to create materials that highlight the benefits of our solutions. This role acts as a liaison between the Sales Team, Clients, and the Business Units.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities are presented in order of priority a­­­nd include, but are not limited to, the following:

     

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive training curriculum for internal and external customers
    • Build and maintain training materials that support the training curriculum
    • Deliver training programs for internal and external customers
    • Contribute to help documentation and online help videos
    • Work with the Marketing Team to ensure marketing materials related to the technology roadmap are current and accurate
    • Create commercial materials for our solutions that can be incorporated in current marketing strategy
    • Consult with Software Product Owners on user expectations, evaluation of new technology, and the software roadmaps
    • Develop workflow-driven demonstrations that incorporate distributed GIS concepts and illustrate an understanding of new implementation patterns and practices
    • Build and maintain demonstration platform and data sets in conjunction with team; mentor Technical Sales Engineer to conduct technical demonstrations onsite or via conference call
    • Demonstrate the advantages of our solutions during the pre-sales process, at various industry events, scheduled webinars, and other places as needed

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, or related field; or equivalent experience

     

    Experience:

    • 3-5 years of experience developing and delivering training programs
    • Demonstrable strong communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Public speaking
    • Technical writing skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Familiarity with Pipeline and GIS industries required
    • Extensive experience with New Century Software, ESRI, and other industry-standard GIS technologies required

    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build internal networks required to accomplish business goals.
    • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical audiences
    • Strong presentation development and delivery skills
    • Continued independent learning of ESRI, distributed GIS technologies, web technologies, and the pipeline industry.
    • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally

     

    Preferred:

     

    • Five or more years of experience in software sales and development within the Oil & Gas Pipeline or Utilities Industries 
    • Experience deploying ESRI ArcMap, ArcGIS Enterprise, or ArcGIS Runtime applications
    • Industry domain knowledge (transportation, oil & gas, and utilities Industries)

     

    Position Requirements:

     

    • Primary Location: Fort Collins, CO
    • Position: Full-Time
    • Travel Required: 30%
