    New Century Software is a leader in developing data management and integrity management solutions for the oil and gas pipeline industry. These pipelines transport natural gas and hazardous liquid petroleum products throughout the US and the world. The company develops desktop, web, and mobile applications that help pipeline operators manage information about pipeline assets and ensure safe operation. The company supports these implementations and applications with professional services that include pipeline risk analysis, data conversion, data migration, and consulting.


    The position of Operations Manager works with both the Software and Integrity Plus teams to assist in meeting revenue, execution, and related project delivery goals. The Operations Manager collaborates and interfaces with various internal and external stakeholders to facilitate operational consistency and efficiencies. Responsibilities are presented in order of priority and include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • High-level oversight of technical resources including scheduling, load leveling, and other resource allocation/planning activities
    • Act as a system operations expert analyzing current processes, procedures, and systems; make recommendations on improvements or modifications as needed
    • Review and approve contracts and proposals for accuracy, terms & conditions, scope, etc.
    • Act as liaison between sales and operations staff on projects
    • Support forecasting of work and partner with Sales, and Finance team
    • Drive successful achievement of company performance and financial goals
    • Assist business units with monitoring of project scope, budget, schedule and deliverables
    • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting operational data and metrics
    • Assist in various project support tasks including, but not limited to, document preparation, preparation and transmission of project deliverables, and review of technical papers
    • Assist with other departmental tasks as requested
    • Other responsibilities as identified by company management


    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, science, technology, engineering, project management or similar; master’s degree a plus
    • Five to seven years of experience with project management and contract review; Project Management certification preferred
    • Proven operations track record in comparable business environment
    • Experience with tracking KPI’s, analyzing metrics, and forecasting
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Attention to detail
    • Self-motivated
    • Works well independently as well as in team settings
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite - Word, Excel, Access, etc. 
    • Experience with CRM, Adobe, and Power BI preferred.

    Training Requirements:


    All employees are required to participate in the training and onboarding program. Basic curriculum is required to be completed within the first three weeks of employment and the additional curriculum is to be completed within six months of start date.

    • Travel Required:  Up to 15%
    • Participation in DOT Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program
