Integrity Plus goes beyond typical point and “checkbox” solutions by providing holistic strategies that support pipeline operators’ integrity programs and regulatory compliance objectives.

    Integrity Plus is searching for a self-motivated individual with a background in science, technology, engineering or similar for the position of Sr. DOT Compliance Engineer/Specialist. This consulting role supports both large and small pipeline operators in a variety of compliance services consulting capacities. The position provides for opportunities for professional growth as well as innovation in a fast-paced work environment. This client-facing position must meet the needs of our customers while maintaining a strong presence as an industry leader in the oil and gas pipeline field.  The DOT Compliance Engineer/Specialist is required to travel up to 50% of the time.  Participation in DOT Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program is required.


    The position of Senior DOT Compliance Engineer/Specialist at Integrity Plus is tasked with assisting the DOT Compliance Director in developing the DOT Compliance Team’s consulting efforts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


    Support DOT Compliance Director and Team

    • Achieve billable revenue goals at individual and team levels
    • Establish an industry presence by conference attendance and presentations
    • Provide quality assurance of team deliverables
    • Mentor staff, team training, and professional development support

    Support Clients

    • Compliance with Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), DOT regulations codified in 49 CFR 191-199 as well as Canadian and state-specific regulations
    • Pipeline safety program support, with emphasis on Integrity Management Program (IMP)
    • Program and Procedure Development and Implementation
    • Third party inspection of existing programs to identify areas of improvement
    • Train clients with respect to regulatory program implementation/updates
    • In-house client support
    • Monitor federal and state regulatory changes and industry best practices
    • Technical report development supporting Compliance Team, Integrity Management Team, and Data Management Team projects

    Manage Personnel

    • Oversee activities
    • Provide education opportunities
    • Approve time and expense

    Manage Projects

    • Budget management and forecasting
    • Review and approval of pre-bill invoices
    • Manage scope and deliverables
    • Client interface and management

    Technical Sales Support

    • Assist with marketing content development
    • Proposal development and cost estimates
    • Sales meetings and presentations
    • Conference attendance
    • Personal and team sales goals

    Support Integrity Plus

    • Support company strategic initiatives and internal stakeholders
    • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for company software initiatives
    • Support operational and quality control improvement projects
    • Develop and implement continuing education



    • Bachelor degree in science, technology, engineering degree or similar, master’s degree a plus
    • Minimum four (4) years of experience with pipeline compliance
    • Previous management and project management experience
    • Demonstrates knowledge of the PHMSA/DOT referenced standards
    • Demonstrates strong communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Advanced technical writing skills
    • Advanced user in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Familiarity with GIS, spill simulation, air dispersion modeling, and risk analysis concepts
    • Ability and willingness to travel

    Position Requirements

    Training Requirements

    All Integrity Plus employees are required to participate in the training and onboarding program. Basic curriculum is required to be completed within the first three (3) weeks of employment and the additional curriculum is to be completed within six (6) months of start date. Training requirements may be waived based on demonstrated proficiency.
