    Integrity Plus, a division of New Century Software, Inc., is an integrity analysis and consulting team dedicated to serving hazardous liquids and natural gas pipeline operators. Integrity Plus goes beyond typical point and “checkbox” solutions by providing holistic strategies that support pipeline operators’ integrity programs and regulatory compliance objectives.

     

    Integrity Plus is seeking a self-motivated individual with previous risk engineering experience for the position of Risk Engineer with the Integrity Management Team.  This consulting role supports both large and small pipeline operators in a variety of integrity services consulting capacities. This opportunity provides for professional growth and flexibility by developing innovative solutions in a fast-paced work environment.  This client-facing position must meet the needs of our customers while maintaining a strong presence as an industry leader in the oil and gas pipeline field.

    Responsibilities

    The position of Risk Engineer with Integrity Plus, a division of New Century Software, is tasked with providing integrity management risk analysis-related consulting services. Responsibilities are presented in order of priority and include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Support clients with Integrity Management Program (IMP) efforts
      • Support clients with meeting the requirements of Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations: 49 CFR 192, Subpart O, Gas Transmission Pipeline Integrity Management, 49 CFR 192, Subpart, P, Gas Distribution Integrity Management, 49 CFR 195.452, Integrity Management in High Consequence Areas
      • Support Integrity Plus in High Consequence Area Analysis (Hazardous Liquids and Natural Gas) 
        • Liquids spill analysis
        • HVL (Highly Volatile Liquid) analysis
        • Potential Impacts Radius (PIR)
        • Class Location
      • Risk Analysis (Hazardous Liquids and Natural Gas) 
        • Matrix or Subject Matter Expert models
        • Indexing algorithms
        • Probabilistic algorithms
        • Line pipe and facilities
      • Assessment planning consulting and strategies
      • Partner with Compliance Team in IMP development, implementation, and projects
      • Technical report development supporting Integrity Team, Compliance Team, and Data Management Team projects
      • Partner with Compliance, Data Management, and Software Teams in multi-sector projects
    • Manage projects
      • Plan and manage client projects
      • Scope and budget management
      • Review and approval of pre-bill invoices
      • Quality control
      • Manage deliverables
      • Client interface and management
    • Technical sales support 
      • Sales and marketing team support
      • Proposal development and cost estimates
      • Sales meetings and presentations
      • Conference attendance
    • Support Integrity Plus internal clients
      • Support company strategic initiatives
      • Act as SME for internal stakeholders
      • Support operational and quality control improvement projects 
      • Support strategic planning and other business initiatives
      • Develop and implement continuing education
      • Support other departments as appropriate
    • Other responsibilities as identified by the Integrity Plus Team

    Qualifications

     

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, similar, or equivalent experience; Master’s Degree a plus
    • Previous pipeline integrity management experience preferred
    • Previous project management experience preferred
    • A demonstrable knowledge of the PHMSA/DOT referenced standards is preferred
    • Demonstrable strong communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Demonstrable technical writing skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

     

    TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

    All Integrity Plus employees are required to participate in the training and onboarding program. Basic curriculum is required to be completed within the first three (3) weeks of employment and the additional curriculum is to be completed within six (6) months of start date.

     

     

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • Primary Location: Houston, TX or Fort Collins, CO
    • Position: Full-Time
    • Travel is required up to 30% of the time
    • Participation in DOT Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program
